Applicant must meet one of the following qualifications: have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or have obtained an associate's degree (or higher); or have met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment, competency to handle this position. Applicant must have or be willing to immediately obtain a paraprofessional certification. Laquitta Doak, Administrative Assistant to Superintendent, will help with this certification.
Applicant should be flexible, work well under pressure and technology experience preferred.
Experience or willing to work in a Special Education setting is preferred but not required.
